Manufacturing Engineer - 2015





Job Description: Support manufacturing engineering

functions at the factories. Manage manufacturing build

process, process control validation, which will include

CM/ODM/OEM Audit & Qualification. Responsible for

Factory Site Technical Metrics ownership and drive

improvements. Lead Sustaining Yield & YAP management

and execution. pDRT and LS/LA ownership. Provide support to

TPM and IPT on all technical issues related to PF/BU.

Responsible for capacity, cost and product change

management including context ME management. Support NPI

Proto/Pilot & FAI at the factory sites.


Roles & Responsibilities:

 Factory Site Technical Quality Metrics ownership and

drive metrics improvement.

 Responsible for Sustaining Yield & YAP management

and execution.

 pDRT and LS/LA ownership within Factory Site.

 Provide support to TPM and IPT on all technical issues

by PF/BU.

 Support manufacturing engineering functions at the

factories. Manage manufacturing build process and process

control validation.

 Responsible for capacity, cost (TIQ validation), NRE

review and approval

 Responsible product change management (LECO &

Deviation).

 Responsible for context ME management including

validation of skill sets and services.

 Support QBR/MOR scorecard inputs and feedback.

 Responsible for conducting CM/ODM/OEM audit &

qualification and on-boarding efforts.

 Support NPI Proto/Pilot & FAI at the Factory sites

if the NPI Proto/Pilot activities are done in the

region.

 Deploy global manufacturing process improvements at the

factories.

 Responsible for site moves execution and bring-up.

 Support QE by executing factory related RMA and

CLCA.

 Initiates and drives solutions for closed loop

corrective actions Mfg Partners and Component

Suppliers.

 Drives bone pile metrics, reviews repair practices, and

collaborates with Test Engineering to drive overall best

Debug and Repair Processes.

 Monitors and assess overall technical capability of the

factory site.
