Global Data Analyst, Commodities & Energy Job - 2015

LP is looking for a highly motivated and analytical

individual to join our Global Data team in Sao Paulo. Our

mission is to provide the highest quality data to the

financial markets, by promptly delivering accurate,

reliable and comprehensive information to our clients.

You will be responsible for monitoring and expanding our

data coverage by analyzing and processing information

from the financial markets in Latin America. As a Global

Data Analyst, you will interact frequently with our

internal and external clients, working very closely with

our Sales team, News reporters, external data sources and

other internal products, focusing on the promotion and

development of the Data product as a whole.

Required

Qualifications:

-Understanding of financial markets;

-Effective research and data analysis skills;

-Strong Excel knowledge;

-Ability to interact with internal and external customers

within the financial industry;

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in

English and Portuguese;

-VBA and/or Spanish are a plus.

Preferred

Qualifications:

-Understanding of economic concepts, commodity data or

fixed income;

1 – 3 years of SQL for querying and managing

databases;

1 – 3 years of experience working with Web Services,

HTML, Javascript or Python.
