Role Summary/Purpose: Lead & coordinate all Accounting and
Controllership Compliance for General Ledger Area.
Essential Responsibilities:
– Support controllership & compliance initiatives, liaising
with the Financial Services Leader and/or Business
Controllership Team, as appropriate
– Driving standardization of reporting processes, focusing on
increasing efficiency of closing and account reconciliation
processes
– Coordinate a monthly DR submission on a timely basis
according with the policies and procedures
– Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet Review providing
comments for variances based on analytical review
– Supervise / review monthly and quarterly account
reconciliations
– Build and maintain strong working relationships with the
teams and the Business Controllership Team
– Focal person for internal & external audits and ensuring
timely closure of all audit findings
– Promote the interaction and communication with other
financial areas (AR, AP, FA, etc.)
– Partner with business and tax team for resolution of tax
issues
– Support ad-hoc projects and other tasks as necessary
– Ensure compliance with local and USGAAP
Qualifications/Requirements:
– 5 – 6 years of experience in the related area.
– University Degree in Accounting / Business Administration.
– Leadership skills
– English Skills.
– Product/process knowledge.
– Analytical Expertise.
– Local & US GAAP knowledge.
– Customer Orientation.
– Demonstrated team Leadership.
