Team Lead - SMX - Greencastle, IN

SUMMARY:
Assist supervisors by monitoring employee performance and provide direction to assigned team. Work alongside team demonstrating correct material handling and machine operation procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Provide direction and motivation to assigned team and delegate appropriate tasks in an effective manner.
Monitor performance and notify supervisors of performance or production issues.
Train new and existing team members. Team leads must be well versed in all aspects of reporting, communications, terminology, and organizational procedures.
Collect daily information on production status and prepare accurate reports for supervisor.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work days, afternoons, nights, overtime and weekends
Ability to manage a team of people (5-25 per shift)
Minimum of 1 year experience managing others in a manufacturing environment
Experience in automotive setting is an asset
Read, write, speak English
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Ability to follow instructions and follow through with assigned tasks
Ability to communicate procedures and instruct others in a clear and precise manner

Schedule: 12 hour shifts

Salary: $16/hour
