Job description:


Engage with the business stakeholders (risk, finance and audit

partners) to  analyze and escalate any risk and issues,

and be able to work across multiple jurisdictions with Latin

America. Coordinate compliance activies with teams in EMEA,

APAC and US to ensure global deliverables are met. Work

with respective Country Compliance Officers across the Latin

America Region.



 



Responsible for tracking and researching local regulatory rules

and expectations, issues and/or program gaps and related

mitigation plans and resolution. Creates working papers and

maintain auditable repository.



Work with the functional areas withing CFO Compliance team to

plan, prioritise, organize and execute testing in a timely

manner ensuring deliverables are achieved and on

schedule. Prepare reports and other materials for CFO

Compliance and Regional Compliance.



Assist in the review of  regulatory requirements impacting

the CFO space, including impact assessments, interpretation and

application.



Support execution of the Risk Assessment for the Latin America

region relating to CFO Compliance.



Participate and represent in regional and head office

governance routine, both Compliance driven as well as business,

and any other required meetings.



 



Requirements



 





  • Understanding and familiarity with rules that impact the

    CFO functioanl areas (liquidity, funding, Basel, regulatory

    reporting, third party, etc.) and knowledge of risk and finance

    functions, people, processes and systems.




  • Strong analytical skills, ability to perform detailed

    assessment to identify risks and deficiencies in the control

    environment to support applicable rules.




  • Strong business partnering skills with individuals across

    the orgnanization and desire to work in a fast-paced

    environment




  • Self starter, works independently, detail oriented, capable

    of working in a production environment and managing to

    deadlines, and drives for results 




  • Prior monitoring and testing experience with emphasis on

    regulatory requirements preferred.




  • Strong verbal and written communication skills




  • Ability to communicate professionally and interact with

    senior management and individuals across the organization




  • Proficient computer/software skills – Experience with Word,

    Excel, Power Point, Outlook etc.




  • Language proficiency in English, Portuguese and

    Spanish. 




  • Bachelor’s Degree
