Typical Job Entry Requirements

· Previous banking experience with collection experience is a plus.
· Computer experience with a working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software programs.
· Good written and oral communication skills.
· Previous experience in a lending environment is a plus.
Primary Activities
(Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.) · Acts as a collection agent on all loan accounts deemed delinquent. This includes all charge-off activity and recoveries.
· Calls on customers with past due accounts and assists customers with financial counseling via phone, mail and home visits as necessary.
· Responsible for the retrieval and disposal of repossessed units by means of auction and/or sale to external customers.
· Assemble charge-off files
· Assist customers with loan cure programs
· Conduct audits individually or with assigned staff.
· Inspect assets and confirms that collateral is in order.
· Review reports received from the floor plan staff for exception items and reviews loan files for collateral and / or supporting documents.
· Review floor plan audits for accuracy and detail.
· Coach staff on audit procedures.
· Ensure floor plan audits are performed on a regular and timely basis.
· Schedule audits.
· Provide reports of audits performed according to the findings and results of each audit.
· Discuss findings with the Special Assets Manager as audit progresses or at end of audit as indicated.
· Prepare and submits written report of each audit performed or supervised.
· Devise audit procedures and programs.
· Work closely with lending departments to review methods and systems.
· Assist in devising the audit phase of systems and procedure changes.
· Work with the Special Assets Manager in determining the scope, frequency and timing of individual floor plan audits.
· Perform assigned responsible audit and control procedures.
· Investigate cause of missing inventory.
· Maintain positive relationship between dealerships and company.
· Inspect and assist in the liquidation of foreclosed commercial property.
