Training Specialist - PotashCorp - Cory, IN

The company has a career opportunity for qualified applicants at PotashCorp – Cory, located 8km west of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Training Manager, the Training Specialist is responsible for the performance of duties that support the department in the training and development of employees at site.

Key tasks include the fulfilment of training administration duties; the capturing training needs; performing analysis of learning, and compliance reporting. The incumbent will effectively apply current instructional design techniques, efficiently utilize business application software along with other training media tools to develop and prepare training materials, media and, or content.

This position further supports the department by maintaining various learning and content management systems.

This position requires a high level of competence and the ability to function in an independent and team orientated environment. Superior communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations will be essential to satisfy the needs of various internal customer groups.

The ideal candidate would possess a technical diploma from a recognized educational institute in a related field. A certificate in adult education would be considered an asset. Strong computer skills and the ability to apply those skills creatively would be essential.

The successful candidate may be required to undergo a background check. All safety sensitive positions require a substance test in accordance with PotashCorp policy.
