Direct Care Staff - Bridges of Indiana - Terre Haute, IN

Bridges of Indiana is a human services agency that is dedicated to providing quality services for the aging population and individuals with disabilities. We are new to the Columbus and surrounding area and are excited to expand our mission to the community.

A Direct Care Staff provides services while ensuring the health, safety and welfare of each individual and helps individuals with the needed skills to live successfully in their own homes.

These services include:

• Daily-living skills such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and meal preparation


• Household maintenance including cleaning, laundry and reporting needed home repairs


• Medication administration assistance


• General supervision


• Transporting and assisting in accessing community resources, shopping and other community based activities

Requirements for Direct Staff include:

• Must have a GED or High School Diploma


• Must be at least 18 years old


• Must have CPR and First Aid certificates or be able to attend Bridges training sessions.


• Must have a TB test or unmarked chest x-ray completed


• Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance

Position pays $9.00-$10.00/hr DOE
