Customer Service Representative - hhgregg - Terre Haute, IN
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities are essential in the daily execution of the position:
- Enter customer purchases into P.O.S system.
- Assist in the answering of telephone calls and follow hhgregg phone etiquette.
- May be responsible for opening and closing registers; verifying and balancing all transactions entered in the registers.
- Good understanding and execution of all payment procedures.
- Working knowledge of service system and all related functions.
- Perform returns and exchanges for customers within the 14 day return policy guidelines and check for all related accessories with merchandise return.
- Maintain department or area of responsibility this includes merchandising, cleaning and tagging according to current strategy.
- Handle routine customer complaints or problems regarding merchandise.
- Perform other duties as needed and directed by management.

- Basic computer knowledge

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Job Classification: Medium: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Light work.
