Regional Sales Leader: Sub-Saharan Africa Job

Essential Responsibilities This critical role has the following key accountabilities:
· Lead development of commercial strategy and direction for Sub Saharan Africa ES region, in liaison and alignment with global leadership and incorporating local management input
· Lead strategy, Sales & Orders growth, Contribution Margin expansion, deal structures & Channel Strategy, as well as talent development across the GEWPT portfolio.
· Direct accountability for approx. $~40MM Sales in 2011 and an employees across multiple countries.
· Strong focus on building strategic accounts, leveraging the breadth of GE to build executive level customer relationships, solutions, and loyalty.
· Key metrics will be Bookings and Convertible Revenue.
· Attract, retain and develop commercial talent; succession planning. Build robust local pipeline and continuously increase technical and commercial competencies.
· Work cross functionally to drive growth, and improvement in customer satisfaction, as measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS).
· Overall responsibility for all functions within Sub Saharan Africa to act as a single unified team with complementary direction and strategy
· Partner with GE Corporate and GE Infrastructure commercial teams.
· Lead a culture of Integrity, Quality, and EHS.
