Overview:

The primary purpose of this positions is to provide training activities for recruitment staff which includes: training new-hires on administrative procedures, preparing all training materials, conducting follow-up training with existing recruitment staff and utilizing various training techniques with specific emphasis on DELTA, SROC, and Banner Systems. This position also researches, analyzes, designs, develops and implements new forms, reports and assists with national recruitment policies.

Responsibilities:

* Develops and implements effective training materials, methods and procedures. Evaluates training needs and deficiencies within the department which includes researching, developing and modifying course material to meet the learning needs of the targeted audience.
* Demonstrates how to perform job responsibilities and observes the trainees performance to ensure compliance. Trains new employees to enhance their knowledge and skills required to optimize their performance. Assists recruitment employees in developing their individual skills and talents for current job duties in preparation for future assignments and career growth. Serves as an ongoing resource to answer questions on job issues and ensures trainees understanding.
* Conducts one-on-one training sessions with staff which includes teaching the SFDC systems processes and procedures; provides a written summary of training completed with recommendations. Advises recruitment manager of training progress and advises on training and performance matters with ongoing assistance.
* Collaborates with Regional Dean and Manager of Systems Training and Recruitment on training opportunities/training materials as assigned.
* Participates in Train-The-Trainer activities for new program implementations and provides on-going support and training for new hires.
* Completes special projects and/or training for Department of Enrollment Management ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures
* Assist/develop/facilitates post class training seminars

* Bachelor's degree preferred
* 1-2 years training experience, administrative experience and proficient with DELTA, SFOC, CRM/Banner systems.
* Identify training needs, development of training materials and deliver appropriate training sessions (with follow-up)
* Computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Internet, Outlook
* Communication skills, public speaking, observation and providing effective feedback
