Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for processing and compiling paperwork for shipping products internationally and domestically. Assist Shipping Supervisor in expediting traffic services for incoming and outgoing shipments, locate misdirected shipment and handle telephone inquiries.
  


• Coordinate outgoing freight bills with appropriate sales orders. Create bills of lading and invoice all forklifts and service parts that ship out of Greencastle. Collect signed bills of lading. Process paperwork and input shipping information into the computer. Forward bills of lading copies to accounting. Process shipment Report Forms. Generate Farm-out Purchase Orders. Review, correct and process service parts orders. Enter inventory data into the inventory system. Type NAFTA Certificate of Origins for various Canadian customers and brokers for both Mexico and Canada.inquiries. Maintain departmental files as necessary.
  


• Generate and release outbound shipments for forklifts and service parts. Quote freight rates for domestic shipments from Greencastle. Verify information on each order and collaborate with the Sales Department to resolve any discrepancies such as FOB’s, carrier, address, proper skidding, cradling and bagging. Add and make changes in the BaaN systems when necessary. Call and inform truck lines of shipping destinations and deadlines. Trace both domestic and international outbound shipments. Type Certificate of Conformity. Coordinate delivery appointments with Company branches and dealers for incoming forklifts into their territories via trucking companies.
