Quality Control Position

• Perform quality checks on materials destined for production and/or shipping including treat, size, gauge, surface and flatness.


• Identifies all quality issues with orders that requiring sorting, replacement or scrapping by extrusion. Make line checks daily to assure quality materials are being produced.


• Maintains records of all inspections indicating any discrepancies and corrective action required.


• Provide assistance to warehouse operations whenever time permits.


• Follows all safety guideline and procedures, and maintain good housekeeping.


• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for 12 hours.


• Walk a minimum of one mile in a shift.


• Bend and twist, right and left Able to reach above head.


• Work around 380 degree heat and torque bolts up to 100 pounds.


• Climb a minimum of three feet off ground.


• Work in a high traffic area.


• Comprehend written and verbal instruction.


• Performs other duties as required.
