MS Project Scheduler (CRANE-15-0530-F)
Bowhead is looking for aMicrosoft Project Schedulerin support of NSWC Crane and the Radar Technologies Division. Candidate will be responsible for developing, analyzing and updating MS Project schedules. The duties require expert knowledge of Microsoft Project.
Responsibilities:
· Create and implement weekly schedule status, logic and progress analysis, including management information reports on progress and areas requiring attention.
· Implement practices across diverse programs to allow for program status knowledge and to allow for comparison of program status and understanding of interdependencies.
· Ensure team members understanding of roles, interdependency with other members, timing sensitivity (priority) and when outputs are expected.
· Manage projects by developing project plans, timelines, and schedules for Research, Administration, and Information Technology programs.
· Recommend improvements to project plans.
· Provide early warning on project plans that are not going as planned.
· Understand and manage the project’s critical path.
· Assist team leaders in monitoring team performance of tasks.
· Facilitate the flow of information between program members, technical leads, and the Contractor team.
· Communicate effectively through verbal and written language with engineering and military professionals.
· Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) in preparing documents or presentations as part program management.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) and 1-5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience and certifications.
· SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain a clearance at the SECRET Level.
· Expert level MS Project.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) in preparing documents or presentations.
Desired:
· Prior experience supporting NSWC Crane.
· Marine Corps and/or Marine Corps radar experience.

Office Environment: The environmental conditions consist of computer stations and desks with adequate and adjustable lighting.
