Registrar - Ivy Tech Community College - Terre Haute, IN
Major Responsibilities
Manage college course registration process, manual and automated systems. Certify student enrollment. Oversee graduation certification. Manage the processing of grades. Manage a system for the evaluation and processing of transfer of credit, articulation, and equivalency requests. Monitor student’s academic standards of progress. Issue transcripts. Ensure the security of academic data. Possess expert knowledge of FERPA . Train faculty and staff in FERPA . Implement procedures relating to college policies, e.g., FERPA , academic records, etc. The above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties logically associated with the position may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree. Five years of relevant experience, including at least three years of direct leadership experience in registration and/or records. Three years of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree preferably in business, public administration, or data management information systems. Masters preferred.
