Job Responsibilities:
- Organize and assign work, instruct, guide and assist employees in the safe performance of their work.
- Coordinate the activities of assigned work center and take necessary action to assure performance goals are met.
- Provide leadership, direction, and training for employees in assigned work center.
- Anticipate, analyze, and diagnose production problems to coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain conformance with Company policies and procedures and issue discipline when necessary.
- Lead and/or support the implementation of improved manufacturing processes using Lean methodology and tools.
- Approve weekly employee payroll hours and appraise performance.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as intermediate computer skills.
- Specialized courses or training in supervisory and administrative subjects is desired.
