Manager Brazil Survey & Inspection job - Archer - Brazil - Brazil, IN



1 Reporting line

Manager Brazil, Survey & Inspection (S&I) reports functionally to Vice President, Survey and Inspection.

2 Role


The pimary responsibility of this role is to manage and operate the survey and inspection business to meet management expectation and budgetary targets.


3 Functional Responsibilities:


a) Business Management


  • Accountable for the overall management and operations of S&I Brazil business to meet all client contractual commitments and annual budget.

  • Prepare an annual budget and sales plan, execute plans to exceed sales targets from existing and new clients, and increase revenue from previous year whilst maintaining an acceptable EBIT.

  • Analyse business performance, takes necessary actions promptly to maximise profitability by monitoring revenue and expenditure against targets and budgets.

  • Monitor market development and key competitors’ activities, take necessary actions to minimise adverse impact and maximise opportunities.

  • Develop and implement sustainable strategies and plans to improve S&I Brazil’s competitiveness, competency, profitability and market share, such as improved pricing strategy, market penetration strategy, differentiation strategy etc.

  • Management reporting to VP and corporate office, including weekly and monthly sales activity reports and responsible for S&I Brazil database in Salesforce.com

  • Promote effective communication and interaction between S&I Brazil and other Archer business units, including but not be limited to, all HSE & Quality initiatives within the Company.


b) Operations Management

  • Work with other Managers and VP to provide competitive quotation and tender to customers.

  • Oversees the operations team (Technical Authority, Operational Support Supervisor and Logistics Assistant) to ensure that services are provided efficiently and profitably.

  • Monitor and improve service performance and customer satisfaction, including work performed by 3 rd party contractor (s).

  • Ensure that all work is carried out professionally and safely to the requirements of company, customers, industry and professional accreditation bodies.

  • Follow up closely with customers to ensure prompt invoicing and payment to lower DSO

  • Review training needs and schedule training to enhance the company’s competency


4 Candidate Profile/requirements

Essential:


­ Minimum 15 years proven track record of Managerial & Business Development within the Oil and Gas Industry specific to Mobile Offshore Drilling Units ( MODU’s). Proven performer to identify new business opportunities and secure contracts and consistently deliver/exceed financial results in way of revenue and EBITDA within the past 5 years.

Required Key Skills:

• Proven Business and Administration Skills

­ Manage our Brazil business with the ability to consistently deliver/exceed financial results per budget and ensure excellent service quality.


­ Identify new business opportunities and secure contracts with upper management of both International Operators and Drilling Contractors


­ Strong IT skills, proficient in the use of Excel, Word and Powerpoint at a minimum .


Communication Skills


­ Team Leader, Mentor, Motivator and Communicator


­ Ability to prioritise, delegate and perform proficiently when under pressure


­ Excellent interpersonal skills to all levels in S&I organisation
