This position supervises and monitors clients on work release in accordance with established rules, policies and laws.

Examples of Duties:
Supervises the movement of work release residents.

Supervises visits of the work release residents and performs searches.

Monitors meals.

Oversees home detention monitoring.

Performs other related work as assigned.

Typical Qualifications:
Ability to remain alert, observant, and physically able to respond to work situations and emergencies.

Ability to enforce rules, regulations, and discipline with firmness, tact, and impartiality.

Ability to understand rules, regulations, and procedures.

Ability to complete assigned tasks, and responsibilities with limited supervision.

Ability to communicate effectively.

Supplemental Information:
Effectively establish and maintain working relationships with employees, work release residents, and the general public.

Skilled in computer usage and telecommunication equipment.

Must be able to pass background/criminal check.

29 hours per week [evenings and some weekends]
