TECH-LABOR ROOM PRN-UHTH LABOR/DELIVERY job - Union Hospital - Terre Haute, IN

Position Highlights:
Level 2 Labor Room—High Risk OB. The department speaks of a newly renovated and state of the art environment: 8 private birthing suites; 5 bed OB Emergency Department; 4 bay triage and 2 surgery suites. Approximately 1900 births/year

Position Responsibilities:
The Labor Room Tech may function in any or all of the following capacities according to the needs of the Labor/Delivery Department: Surgical Technologist; Assistant to the Physician within the Surgical Suite; Function in the role of preparing and dissembling the surgery suite for the scheduled procedures and can serve as the registration specialist

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program

·

Certification eligible and expected to be certified as a Surgical Technologist

·

Currently certified in the Health Care Provider BLS
