Process Engineer Job in Terre Haute 47801, Indiana US
Growing manufacturing company in the Paris, IL area is currently in search for a Process Engineer. Candidate must have a strong background in aerospace manufacturing that includes lean manufacturing, process improvements and methods including flow, layout, assembly and production equipment. Candidate must have a minimum of two years in the Aerospace industry and a bachelors degree in engineering.
Responsibilities for the Process Engineer
- Technical skills in manufacturing processes and methods including flow, layout, assembly and production equipment.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
- Designs, develops and tests and/or sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
- Represents manufacturing on cross-functional teams.
Requirements for the Process Engineer
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- proficient in CAD and basic computer skills
- Two years experience in a aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
