Health Department Seasonal Night Mosquit... job - Vigo County, IN - Terre Haute, IN

The purpose of the position is to help control the adult mosquito population in Vigo County.

Examples of Duties:
Drive 1/2 ton pick-up truck on a given 40 mile route at 10 MPH five nights a week depending on weather. [From end of May to mid October]

Ability to follow written and oral detailed instructions and apply pesticides in accordance with instructions.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to use independent judgment.

Typical Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Must have knowledge of Vgo County and City of Terre Haute streets and roads, and have a sense of direction.

Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Supplemental Information:
May not be pesticide or chemically sensitive or have respiratory problems.

Ability to see, hear sounds at a normal level, ambulate independently, bend, stoop, sit or stand.

Ability to use multi-hand and/or foot controls.

Ability to work in all weather and environmental conditions.
