Machine Operator/First Shift – Manufacturing – Immediate Opportunity

Kelly Services is accepting resumes for a long term contract assignment with a well-respected manufacturing company in Terre Haute, Indiana. This position will begin by mid-July 2015 and is estimated to continue through December 2015.

As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for operating and monitoring automated machines and equipment in a fast paced environment. Previous machine operator or material handler experience is highly desirable. High school diploma/GED is required. Associates Degree in technical field would be very beneficial.

Duties will include:

Maintain safety standards and follow all standard operating procedures

Perform start-up activities, test equipment, operate bagging/filling/palletizing equipment, and prepare shift documentation

Complete sanitation tasks on machinery and facilities

Comply with all required standard operating procedures

This position will require exposure to normal manufacturing conditions, such as loud noises, lifting, bending, standing, stooping, and working around automated machinery.
