Customer Service Representative in Greencastle Indiana Job in Greencastle 46135, Indiana US

Are you looking for a new career and enjoy customer service? We are looking to add 3 new Customer Service Representatives to our Plastic Automotive production facility in Greencastle, In. Starting pay rate is $13.00/hr. and shifts are either 7pm-7am on Thurs/Fri & Sat. or 7pm-6am on Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed.

BASIC FUNCTIONS & SPECIFIC DUTIES:
*Coordinate ON TIME delivery of material as required by the customer.
*Maintain accurate performance and shipment records.
*Respond promptly and professionally to customer concerns.
*Communicate concerns, problems and potential problems regarding delivery to IAC Management.
*Determine requirements for each destination assigned; design shipments to customer specifications.
*Communicates requirements to shipping, scheduling and manufacturing departments promptly.
*Schedule carriers per customer requirements.
*Track and expedite daily shipments; provide packing slips and bills of lading to the Shipping Department.
*Insure advance shipping notice (ASN) is sent promptly, per customer requirements.
*Use customer systems (i.e. DDL or SMART) to forecast problems and avoid premium freight.
*Maintain accurate records.
*Proofread invoices and bills of lading before the paperwork is taken to the Shipping Department.
*File invoices and pull sheets promptly, as directed by Department Supervisor.
*Investigate cum discrepancies and reconcile variances promptly.
*Respond promptly to customer concerns.
*Return all telephone calls immediately.
*Respond to customer requests for information promptly.
*Issue backorder/special shipment sheet for all shipments outside normal routing.
*Issue backorder/special shipment sheet whenever material is not shipped on time.
*Issue receiving discrepancy report for all discrepancies reported by the customer.
*Inform department supervisor immediately when premium freight is required and IAC is responsible.


REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
*High School Diploma or G.E.D., preferred.
*Microsoft Office
*Comprehends MRP systems
Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.
