Examples of Duties:

1. Conduct an in-depth audit to verify location of property and document changes with detailed measurements and descriptions.
2. Contact property owners to obtain complete information used to prepare accurate property values.
3. Assist in the verification of value assessments (demolitions, corrections, appeal field review, mobile home placements).
4. Attend various educational programs to attain and maintain certification related to the job.
5. Perform other duties as required.

Typical Qualifications:

• Have the ability to acquire Indiana Level I certification within 6 months from hire.


• Have a valid drivers’ license.


• Own a dependable vehicle.


• The ability to accurately record and deliver information, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.


• Have the ability to interact with public in a respectful manner under stressful conditions, as well as work effectively in an office environment.
