Assistant to the Site Manager - Parke County Learning Center - Ivy Tech Community College - Terre Haute, IN


The position will operate the Parke County Learning Center during evening hours. The position reports to the PCLC Site Manager.

Major Responsibilities


Willingness to learn new computer software applications; Especially KeyTrain and WIN software. Assist Ivy Tech & WorkOne students in gaining access to the internet training in the PCLC computer lab. Able to assist Ivy Tech students and the general public with admission and assessment information in person and on the phone. Significant contact with the public. Courtesy, tact and professionalism in this position are an absolute necessity. Responsible for locking and securing the PCLC . Assist and support faculty as well as other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications


Significant work experience preferred. Word processing and/or data entry skills preferred. Knowledge of various Windows-based software packages preferred. Good organizational and communication skills with excellent attitude toward others; and Ability to work with the public.

Work Hours


Approximately 20 hours per week. Evenings required.
