Pharmacy Technician - Cloverdale Drugs - Cloverdale, IN

Cloverdale Drugs has an opening for a pharmacy technician position and will be conducting interviews for this opportunity. This position offers up to +35 hours/week.
Requirements for all applicants include high school diploma or equivalent, criminal background check, drug screen, and physical ability to stand for entire shift (up to 9 hrs)

Position experience preferred, but not required. Non-licensed applicants will undergo a training program to gain certification upon employment. Applicant must be available from 9-6 weekdays and Saturdays from 9-1. Pay based on experience. Employee also eligible for (after i/p) IRA retirement matching up to 3% and PTO, Aflac. TASKS AND DUTIES OF JOB:
-Arrive for work in time to prepare for shift.
-Available for all shifts scheduled and coverage work, as needed.
-Answering phones.
-Screen calls, (not all calls require a pharmacist.)
-Management of order taking.
-Register duty.
-Available for work on a day, week and monthly basis
-Prepare prescriptions on a timely basis
-Ensure all customers are attended to in a timely manner.
-Processing of non-waiting prescriptions.
– Prescription Authorization (Doctor Call) responsibilities.
– Create, Manage and Report Daily End of Day Receipts.
-Prepare Registers on a Daily Basis.
-Calling patient if insufficient stock to fill Rx, adjusting inventory minimums.
-Checking fax regularly and placing incoming faxes in appropriate stations.
-Input prescriptions and other computer data as assigned.
– Keep pharmacy neat and tidy.
– Provide customer service that exceeds company standards.
– Ensure patient confidentiality (HIPPA)
– Any other tasks requested by supervisors.
-Maintaining good customer relations, develop, fulfill and record in computer all other client pharmacy and non- pharmacy purchases.
-Development of Useful Business Data.
-Comply with all applicable company policies, procedures and patient protocols.
-Review incoming prescription information.
-Fulfill Prescription orders and preparation.
-Preparing mail outs
-Delivering mail outs to the post office if necessary.
Required experience:
- customer service/pharmacy tech preferred: 1 year
