Plant Engineer

Terre Haute, IN region

Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods, processes and planning.

Prepare detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.

Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new or revised products.

Design, develop and test various tools, machinery & equipment.

Monitor efficiency & output…apply 6S principals to all areas of plant.

Targeting:  Knowledge of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.

Technical skills in manufacturing processes and methods:

Flow, Layout, Assembly, Production

Strong problem analysis and resolution, thinking ahead…projecting 3-6 months in advance.

Targeting Experience in Aerospace, Gas Turbine Engine Component Manufacturing or similar environments.
