An established automotive supplier is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to add to their staff. This company is one of the fastest growing automotive suppliers in North America and shows no signs of slowing down. This person will oversee the assembly engineering function at the plant and will also have responsiblity in regards to new product launches.
Responsibilities for the Engineering Manager
- Plans and directs all manufacturing engineering activites and personnel within the manufacturing plant.
- Support new product launches at the plant and oversee manufacturing launch engineers
- Lead and participate in all Continuous Improvment activites within the manufacturing department.
- Train and mentor engineers within department
- Ensure on-time delivery of all equipment necessary to support new product launches.
Requirements for the Engineering Manager
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience including assembly and new product launches
- Experience within the automotive industry
