2N is a recognized European leader in the IP Intercom market in EMEA, a privately held company with more than 24 years of success and growth. The headquarters are located in Prague, the U.S. office has been located in Miami for several years.
We are looking for a VP of Sales Operations to help the company to become #1 on the IP intercom market in the USA and to reach the planned goal of $50 million in revenue by 2018.
The VP of Sales Operations is a key member of the executive team committed to the processes and procedures required for flawless execution. The VP of Sales will use a hands-on approach, when leading its team within an emerging growing company. The VP of Sales will build and execute a scalable sales model that will take our company to its next level of growth.
To achieve this, we require a person with a proven long-term track record of successfully developing a profitable business who is passionate about growing a legacy we can be proud of.
In particular, here are the “Top 10” Must-Have Skills for this Vice President of Sales Operations:
- Five years of knowledge and experience within access control, intercom or CCTV industries
- Five years’ experience in managing and leading sales team
- High level of product marketing skills
- A winning and progressive background in B2B channel management, distribution sales and distribution with a track-record of growth
- Business development mentality to expand our current business, personal participation in delivering revenue and maintaining key customers
- Active sales pipeline management
- Experience working with an international (European), dynamic engineering & sales organizations is preferred
- Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to take on full accountability of P&L and ROI analysis, structured and systematic reporting responsible for overall productivity, effectiveness and revenue obtainment for the company
Essential job functions:
- Provide clear direction to sales team with emphasis on improving business model, systems and development of team members. Utilize ability to optimize key sale metrics such as conversion ratios, sales volume and ROI
- Develop key prospective distributors, resellers and channel relationships
- Provide a market research and definition of target partner profiles
- Create highly effective sales strategy and tactic. Inspect, track and analyse performance metrics to make appropriate adjustments to improve ROI
- Create & analyse sales department budgets to ensure projections are in line with operational goals and overall company growth strategy
- Deliver quantifiable results of business on an individual and team performance level
- Recruit, train, and develop new sales employees if necessary
- Travel up to 50% of time
- Participate in business events, conferences, trade shows and seminars
Skills/Requirements
- Must have a start-up experience and the success of scaling a business from $2 to $10M+ within a short period of time (by 2018)
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Proven success at consistently met or exceeded sales targets (verifiable references)
- Experience at a Vice President of Sales level or with a documented success track record
- Direct experience with crafting and executing both short-term and long-term strategic corporate and product sales plans
- Progressive background in B2B sales with a track-record of growth, selling to mid & large-tier enterprise accounts
- Readiness to share personal risk with the company, reasonable but significant part of the remuneration based on success fee
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required. An MBA or five years´ of relevant sales – manager experience is preferred
