SYSTEMS SOFTWARE ANALYST:
Bowhead is hiring a Systems Software Analyst to provide information system software analysis, requirements definition, design development, test, modification, installation, implementation, quality assurance, training, and documentation to meet the evolving data storage and reporting needs of programs and management. The Systems Software Analyst will analyze existing IT and Information System (IS) databases, web sites, and applications and recommend new or improved interfaces and improved management tools that meet new management requirements, or improve management effectiveness and efficiency. Additionally the Systems Software Analyst will modify, implement, and maintain web based information system and links, develop web-site structure, prepare documentation for population, implement, and maintain web sites.
This position requires sitting for long periods of time.
Required Skills
- Experience in information system software analysis, requirements definition, design development, test, modification, installation, implementation, quality assurance, training, and documentation
- Understanding of evolving data storage requirements
- Experience analyzing IT and Information System (IS) databases, web sites, and applications
- Experience with web based information system and links, development of web-site structures
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience supporting the Information Technology Services Division (Code 104) at NSWC Crane
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a clearance at the Secret level.
Required Experience
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) and 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience and certifications.
Candidates must follow all company Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program Requirements.
All post-secondary education listed on a Candidate’s application and resume must be verifiable, including but not limited to dates of attendance and degree/diploma awarded. Post-secondary education includes any courses taken through an accredited college or university in pursuit of a degree.
UICTS/Bowhead will check the motor vehicle records of any job applicant where driving may be required or where a rental car must be obtained for business travel purposes.
