We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer for our site in Hortolândia.

In your role, you will be responsible for driving systematic and continuous supplier quality assurance, promoting improvement based on measured data, supplementing “one off” activities like Supplier Evaluation and Approval Process (SEAP) and defining global QA requirements in supplier specifications.

Main activities of this position to ensure the above mentioned missions are:

– Execution of the quality part of the Supplier Evaluation & Approval Process (SAA and PAA) (in support of supply management) and monitoring of special processes at suppliers.
– Execution of the Parts Approval Process and monitoring performance of suppliers.
– SQA will initiate and follow up the problem solving activities with suppliers (NCR process, 8D), based on performance data, continuous improvement activities including coaching and drive open items to conclusion (PDCA).

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate you:

– Hold a bachelor degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Production)

– Have a minimum of 03 years of experience in relevant activities.

– Have good knowledge of Quality planning (e.g. AQPQ)

– Are familiar with utilization of tools like SMIS, SAP, VCM, PDM.

– Have practical experience of supplier audits (system and process), Parts Approval Process (PAP), Quality Planning (e.g. APQP), Multiple Customer Supplier Relationships, Quality methods and tools (8D, RCA, FMEA, …)

– Are fluent in English.
