PROGRAMMER:
Bowhead is hiring a Programmer to perform ongoing software engineering maintenance enhancement actions on existing computer programs in accordance with requirements and project schedules provided in the Technical Instruction(s). If, as a result of government or contractor quality assurance testing, errors or problems are found with the delivered product, those errors or problems shall be documented and provided to the responsible party for correction. The Programmer will also incorporate the comments, update all necessary documentation, and provide the revised program or module upon completion as Government Owned, free of any proprietary marking.
This position requires sitting for long periods of time.
Required Skills
- IAT II Certification
- Experience in programming with C, C+, C#, Java, or .net.
- Experience with application development methodologies
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience supporting the Information Technology Services Division (Code 104) at NSWC Crane
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a clearance at the Secret level.
Required Experience
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) and 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience and certifications.
Candidates must follow all company Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program Requirements.
All post-secondary education listed on a Candidate’s application and resume must be verifiable, including but not limited to dates of attendance and degree/diploma awarded. Post-secondary education includes any courses taken through an accredited college or university in pursuit of a degree.
UICTS/Bowhead will check the motor vehicle records of any job applicant where driving may be required or where a rental car must be obtained for business travel purposes.
