Job Responsibilities:
- Move materials using lift trucks, hoists and overhead cranes.
- Use lift truck to move materials and completed parts to proper locations.
- Place and remove loads from the floor, parts train, and rack locations. Adjust loads by hand as required for safe handling.
- Conduct daily pre-operational safety checks on lift trucks.
- Break parts out of sheet steel using hammers and punches. Grind parts when needed. Separate parts and stack on to skids according to work instructions and production order specifications.
- Use basic production equipment including but not limited to band saw, Buggo, straightening press, flex arm, and chop saw according to work instructions, prints, D-sheet, and/or production order specifications.
- Comply with safety regulations.
- Notify Supervisor or Group Leader of any safety, quality, or production issues that may occur.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
