Food Production Coordinator

Location: Bedford, IN
Reports to: Area Dining Manager



Job Responsibilities:


  • Orders products and supplies and checks cost of each item to ensure accuracy

  • Communicates with supplier representatives to ensure timely delivery of supplies

  • Maintains knowledge of menu pricing structures

  • Communicates with departmental supervisors to ensure menus are complete and entered in a timely manner

  • Communicates issues or problems with the Area Food Manager

  • Assists on the line or in the walk-in as need arises

  • Responsible to perform all job duties in a safe manner

Additional Responsibilities:


  • Always keeping safety in mind when performing job duties

  • Inspecting equipment for cleanliness and working order

  • Providing good customer service

Training:


  • Must complete a ServSafe training course

Job Requirements:


  • Experience in a similar work environment is preferred but not required

  • The ability to lift up to 25lbs frequently, and occasionally moving up to 50lbs

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent two-year college or technical school
