The America's Broker Relations team builds and maintains partnerships with more than 500 research contributors to maximize and enhance our research and estimates content sets, for dissemination over Thomson Reuters & third party platforms.

Thomson Reuters has deemed LATAM as a region of strategic importance and growth. Through investing in broker & independent research, estimates content sets and associated tools; our mission is to strengthen our position as vendor of choice through satisfying customer needs and winning new clients within and outside of the LATAM region.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in achieving these goals. The role is varied, and entails developing a close partnership with LATAM research houses (both existing and new) as well as internal relationships.

The candidate should have outstanding relationship skills, an eye for detail, coupled with energy, enthusiasm and tenacity. Ideally, this person will have had experience dealing with senior banking executives. The role will be based in San Paolo, Brazil, and requires regular travel to Mexico, Chile and within the LATAM region

Qualifications

Principle Responsibilities:

· Forge partnerships and proactively work with existing contributors to optimize LATAM content coverage, quality and timeliness

· Target and secure new local content

· Assist contributors with related content/functionality queries

· Communicate Thomson Reuters strategy to contributors

· Feedback market and content information/requirements to Thomson Reuters

· Promote interest in Thomson Reuters solutions

· Provide Commercial Support to Thomson Reuters colleagues

Desired skills:

· Sales experience

· Language skills: Portuguese, English and Spanish

· PC Literate (MS Office Products)

· Outstanding relationship building skills

· Excellent communication & presentation skills

· Strong Negotiation skills

· Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritize workload (self motivated)

· Knowledge of Financial/Investment banking industry
