Traffic Control Specialist - General Laborer- Flagger - Brazil, IN. - Area Wide Protective - Brazil, IN

TRAFFIC CONTROL SPECIALIST/GENERAL LABORER/FLAGGER—BRAZIL, IN.

AREA WIDE PROTECTIVE, a Busy and Fast growing Traffic Control Company based out of INDIANAPOLIS, IN. is looking for qualified Traffic Control Specialists/General Laborers in the BRAZIL, IN. area!


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Position temporary work zones utilizing warning signs, traffic cones, barrels

Load/Unload work zone equipment from company vehicles, trailers

Stand and safely manage traffic control through active zones

Perform any other general duties as specified


Qualifications:
HS diploma/GED

Basic reading, writing and math skills

Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good/acceptable driving record

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Flexible availability to include early mornings, late nights, weekends and overtime

Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs while loading trucks and setting up/tearing down work zones

Traffic control work environments will vary making it necessary to tolerate weather conditions such as rain and extreme temperatures. Employees may be exposed to dust, dirt, varying temperatures and loud noises.


AREA WIDE PROTECTIVE PROVIDES:
