Job Summary
Under occasional supervision, has wide latitude for independent judgment and initiative to perform a variety of administrative duties. Duties include: maintain various record systems; use various files, reports and data systems concerned with the initiation, processing and closing out of work orders to meet appropriate deadlines; assist with projects or assignments associated with engineering, construction, standards, operation and maintenance of Energy Delivery systems; communicate with internal and external customers on issues dealing with policies, procedures and service requirements; process work orders; know all forms, construction symbols and terms used in engineering, construction, standards, operations and maintenance projects in Energy Delivery Business Unit; prepare base maps for construction drawings and update maps when work orders are complete. Proficient in using various computer applications; Acts as a district representative in the absence of supervision.
Working Environment:
Primarily office working environment; using a computer and other office equipment.
This position will require some travel within Indiana districts.
40 hour work week with overtime as needed.
Specific Requirements:
Must qualify on EEI’s Support and Administrative Selection System (SASS) pre-employment test.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledgeable of engineering, and construction standards and practices.
Experience in communicating and interfacing with customers (internal and external).
Proficient in using computer and the various MS Office programs.
Proficient in performing administrative job duties.

Previous Payroll experience.
Previous experience processing work orders through a work management system.
