Purchasing Supervisor

Manpower recruiting for a DIRECT HIRE Purchasing Supervisor for an Automotive/Injection Molding client that is experiencing a lot growth so they are adding positions within the company. Responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors. Perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers.

Job duties include:
* Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
* Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
* Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
* Forecast price and market trends to identify changes f balance in buyer-supplier power
* Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
