DIRECTOR OF REVENUE CYCLE Job in 47882
SULLIVAN COUNTY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL Is seeking qualified applicants for the position of: DIRECTOR OF REVENUE CYCLE. This Director providers overall administration and direction of the Admitting & Patient Financial Services Departments of the hospital as well as billing for MSO Clinics. The director develops and implements programs to achieve the hospitals strategic goals and objectives. Directly manages all insurance contracts and contracts with external vendors, including self-pay outsourcing vendors and collection agencies; sets the overall revenue cycle goals for the organization, sets process and outcome metric goals and monitors progress; plans, coordinates and prepares for year-end audits. Job knowledge and education: Bachelors degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, or Health Administration; minimum of 5 years of progressive revenue cycle management experience in a healthcare organization required, including at least 3-5 years of management experience; experience managing patient access, coding and patient financial services preferred; comprehensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations, including ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, APC and CAH structures preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management with a working knowledge of a variety of payers.
