Cafe Helper- Bedford, IN Job in Bedford, Indiana US

• Washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables


• Stirring and straining soups and sauces


• Weighing and measuring ingredients

Cleaning:

• Keeping the food line cleaned and sanitized


• Storing food in the correct area


• Cleaning all work areas and utensils


• Putting clean equipment and utensils away
  


• Changing the garbage

Serving:

• Carrying pans of cooked food from the stove or refrigerator  to serving line


• Operating the cash register


• Serving food to customers

Additional Responsibilities:

• Always keeping safety in mind when performing job duties


• Providing good customer service

Job Requirements:

• Experience in a similar work environment is preferred but not required


• The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions


• Counting money for change and simple addition and subtraction


• The ability to lift up to 25lbs frequently, and occasionally moving up to 50lbs

Training:

• Must complete a ServSafe training course
