Claro que não vou abordar aqui todas as certificações

existentes e este artigo estará longe de ser algo como um “guia

definitivo” sobre o assunto certificação. É apenas minha visão

sobre algumas certificações.



1) PMP – Project Management Professional



A mais difícil das certificações.

O exame em si não é tão difícil assim, mas tem muito conteúdo

teórico para ser assimilado e exige um preparo de 2 a 3 meses

para encarar o exame.



Dicas:



Mitos:


  • “Preciso ser gerente de projeto experiente para fazer a

    prova?”. Não. Claro que contribui e torna a prova mais fácil.

    Quanto menor sua experiência em projetos, maior será seu tempo

    de estudo.

  • “A prova é difícil demais. Quase ninguém passa”. A prova

    exige um longo tempo de estudo. Se você seguir o roteiro

    indicado acima, metade do seu caminho está trilhado. Agora

    prepare-se fisicamente e psicologicamente para o exame, pois é

    um verdadeiro tour-de-force. Você gasta quase 4 horas

    de exame para responder 200 perguntas.


Dificuldade: Alta. É um exame que

Na minha opinião é a mais difícil das certificações em

Agile/Scrum. Provinha bem traiçoeira, alto % de acerto exigido

para certificação (85% de 80 perguntas) e tempo curtíssimo (60

minutos, ou seja, 45 segundos por questão).



Dicas:


  • Ler bastante o Scrum Guide e o livro Agile Project

    Management With Scrum do Ken Schwaber para que você entenda o

    Scrum na ótica do órgão certificador Scrum.Org.

  • São raríssimos os cursos preparatórios (oficiais da

    Scrum.Org e não-oficiais) para esta certificação. Caso encontre

    algum, certifique-se do histórico do instrutor e faça!

  • Dá para encarar a prova com auto-estudo também. Neste caso,

    tente contatar um amigo ou conhecido que seja PSM para

    orientá-lo e te fornecer um bom coaching.


Mitos:


  • “É uma prova de fundamentos. Se eu decorar o Scrum Guide eu

    passo”. Negativo, quanto mais você tiver experiência em

    Agile/Scrum, maior será sua facilidade na prova.

  • “Fiz o curso preparatório e não passei! Que porcaria de

    curso”. Cuidado, um bom curso dá dicas e explica as armadilhas

    na prova, além de preparar o aluno através de

    simulados, mas não ensina o aluno a responder questões em

    45 segundos e nem ensina o aluno e ler/escrever em Inglês.

    Digo isso, pois tempo e o idioma têm sido as maiores causas de

    reprova de alunos meus.

3) PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner)



É a certificação em métodos ágeis aplicada pelo PMI (Project

Management Institute). Atualmente é a certificação com maior

índice de crescimento no mundo, mais até que a certificação

PMP.

Mitos:


  • “Puxa, é uma prova do PMI. Deve ser tão difícil ou até mais

    difícil que o PMP”. Por incrível que pareça, é uma prova

    absurdamente mais fácil que o PMP. O foco maior é em questões

    de conceito do que questões situacionais. Além disso, você não

    irá se deparar com longas questões cheias de pegadinhas, com

    cálculos de caminho crítico ou cálculos complexos de Earned

    Value.

  • “PMI falando de gerenciamento ágil?? Faz-me rir!!” Sim, e é

    perfeitamente possível você entender como cada prática ágil é

    aderente a cada processo do PMBOK. Deixe o preconceito de lado!
