PRODUCT LINE MANAGER - TETRA Technologies, Inc. - Brazil, IN

Responsibilities:
Direct the regional procurement team with respect to the technical specification of materials and products.

Qualify and select equipment manufacturers and suppliers.

Liaise with global product line management to ensure policies, standards and procedures are implemented in each market appropriately.

Support and, where necessary, drive business development efforts when process-detailed technical customer interface, drawings, equipment sizing, and selection is needed.

Deliver technical presentations for training and customer needs.

Support day-to-day operations by providing technical support solutions.

Travel to TETRA locations within the region, the Corporate Office, and anywhere else on an as-needed basis to help with specific problems, provide specialized training and instruction, especially on new products.

Perform audits on operational centers and recommend operational improvements, upgrades modifications etc.

Oversee training requirements and compliance with company policies and the implemented training systems.

Create and deliver monthly reports on operational performance of the product line, including equipment utilization, asset integrity, business development, strategic and tactical maneuvers to improve TETRA’s market position and performance.

Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of Production Well Testing Equipment and Services.

Knowledge of services performed with down hole testing tools and sub-sea equipment.

Knowledge of production systems and general oil and gas upstream process operations.

Knowledge of the applicable codes, regulations and industry standards applicable to Production Well Testing.

Experience directing manufacture of specific equipment used in Production Well Testing, both onshore and offshore.

College level education or equivalent, preferably including an applicable technical certification and some higher level business education.

At least 15 years of applicable operational experience dealing with day-to-day operational support issues.

Experience working with R&D staff to enhance product designs.

Able and experienced at delivering technical and commercial presentations to customers.

Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Able to instruct and advise operational staff on how best to perform operational activities.
