Currently seeking locum tenens Board Certified Anesthesiologist to fill opening in Terre Haute, IN. Interested candidates will have Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school, licensed to practice in IN, and should be a Board Certified Anesthesiologist.


Responsibilities of the Anesthesiologist


  • Monitor patient before, during, and after anesthesia and counteract adverse reactions or complications.

  • Record type and amount of anesthesia and patient condition throughout procedure. 

  • Provide and maintain life support and airway management and help prepare patients for emergency surgery. 

  • Administer anesthetic or sedation during medical procedures, using local, intravenous, spinal, or caudal methods. 

  • Examine patient, obtain medical history, and use diagnostic tests to determine risk during surgical, obstetrical, and other medical procedures.

  • Must do hearts.

Requirements of the Anesthesiologist


  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school

  • Maintain a current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Indiana

  • Must have completed four-year residency program with specialization in anesthesia

  • Board Certified Anesthesiologist
