Recruiter

You will be responsible for full life-cycle recruiting, prioritizing the urgency and importance of your requisition load and building pipelines of qualified candidates for critical roles. You also work closely with your manager, hiring managers, and HR business partners to develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidates that meet diversity and overall recruiting goals. You will also support our talent attraction programs by owning university, military and diversity recruiting events.

Responsibilities:
Understand and execute talent acquisition process with a primary focus on hiring hourly shift workers and exempt level recruiting.

Educate yourself on your functional business responsibility, and identify and engage key relationships.

Set expectations and good communication habits with customers.

Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications as needed.

Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.

Conduct interviews using various reliable personnel selection tools/methods to filter candidates.

Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.

Assist in the development of university campus hiring program for both summer and internship programs.

Assist identifying critical roles (succession planning) within your functional responsibility.

Build and present a sourcing strategy and recruiting plan for each functional business area and then execute the plan.

Establish yourself as an ambassador for the company.

Disciplined focus on your customers and paying close attention to their needs.

Use insights gained to anticipate future needs. How can we consistently add value?

Deliver results executed by setting personal performance goals, assessing steps required to achieve those goals, adjusting strategies to accomplish the goals within the expected delivery range, and taking personal responsibility to ensure success.

Collaborate with team to support other HR activities and goals.

Collaborate with team to create and own an effective onboarding new employee orientation program for North America.

Ensure new-hire administrative data is accurately entered into all systems/ files.


Qualifications :
Degree in Human Resources, Communications or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Experienced in developing proactive candidate sourcing strategies.

Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency based, stress etc.).

Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference/background check, etc.).

Ability to organize assessment examinations.

Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and SAP a plus.

Strong decision making skills.

Strong knowledge of recruiting & staffing laws.

Works well in team environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Willingness to initiate employment via contract (contract to hire).
