Dedicated Flex Student Truck Driver - CDL-A Grads Welcome! - Averitt - Terre Haute, IN

Must live within 150 miles from the location you are applying for.

You will attend paid orientation in Cookeville, TN. After orientation you will then be transported to our Nashville service center to receive your tractor and any additional training.

After this you will then be provided on-the-job training with an experienced Averitt driver trainer where you will enjoy running the open roads for 5-6 weeks where you will benefit from the knowledge of your own personal trainer and mentor. During this training, Averitt will pay you $600 per week , plus you’ll enjoy all the benefits of being an Averitt Associate.

Students will also earn $1,500 tuition assistance bonus . ($500 payable upon completing 90 days and $1,000 upon completing 6 months)

After successful completion of your training your pay scale will be:

Start at .37 cpm

After 90 days- .40 cpm

After 12 months- .41 cpm

After 18 months- .42 cpm

After 24 months- .43 cpm

After 3 years- .44 cpm

After 4 years- .445 cpm

After 5 years- .45 cpm

• Highest starting pay in the Dedicated fleet- PLUS accessorial pay including stop and unloading pay which varies by account


• Dedicated Flex Drivers only work for 1 account at a time (a minimum of 1 week or until the customer’s needs are met) then haul another dedicated customer’s product


• Miles will fluctuate depending on which account you are working on.


• Generally home every week – rarely out two weeks.


• Additional stop and unloading pay for some accounts that require unloading (not all accounts)
