Primary Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel.
- Perform robotic set up and programming to ensure the finished product meets specifications.
- Support daily shop floor operations by troubleshooting and resolving safety, production, and quality issues.
- Perform routine data collection and analysis in order to continually improve the manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Contribute to the new product development process by creating and verifying manufacturing processes, implementing fixture improvements, and documenting standard work.
- Assist in creating, modifying, and revising manufacturing standard work and equipment documentation.
Qualifications
- 1 – 4 years of hands on welding experience including knowledge of the GMAW process, weld symbols, and experience with Motoman and/or Fanuc robotics.
- Ability to read blue prints, plant layouts, and understand welding symbols.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- PLC programming and electrical troubleshooting skills are preferred.
