Portfolio Management Assistant - First Financial Corporation - Terre Haute, IN

Assist Portfolio Managers with administrative and clerical support. Prepare investment monitored lists, trust committee reports, and client presentation materials. Compile, calculate, and analyze financial information relating to trust portfolio management.

Job Entry Requirements

High School Diploma, with prior office experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to other software applications. Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail, problem solving/resolution and analytical skills. Ability to perform multiple tasks and the ability to work under pressure a must.


Primary Activities

Administration:

• Prepare tickets for the deposit of funds/checks to Trust Services accounts.

• Answer Telephones and cover receptionist desk.

• Speak with Investment Officers’ customers when officer is not available.

• Prepare buy/sell tickets for Trust Income Clerk to redeem/purchase money funds.

Investments:

• Prepare Portfolio Investment Reviews.

• Prepare Power Point and client presentation materials.

• Prepare reports/spreadsheets as required.

• Prepare materials for monthly Trust Investment Review meetings.

• Prepare quarterly performance spreadsheets and reports.

• Periodic preparation of cash equivalent balances to ensure timely investment in clients’ accounts.

• Coordinate laptop reservations.

Both:

• Data input and maintenance of the trust accounting, portfolio management and Bloomberg systems.

• Draft letters and forms based on general information provided by supervisor in addition to typing letters.

• Sort, open, distribute and/or answer daily mail as appropriate.

• Develop familiarity with trust accounting and other systems.

• Research files as requested.

• Assist supervisors by performing administrative or investment tasks as assigned.

• Any other duties as assigned.
