Director of Redevelopment Job in Mishawaka, Indiana US
To manage and participate in the process of physically repositioning/redeveloping newly acquired and portfolio multi-family assets. Lead the inspection, repair and upgrade of all buildings, apartments, common area facilities, grounds, and equipment required to successfully execute the redevelopment strategy for each asset.
Working knowledge in mechanical, plumbing, electrical, general building trades is required. Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; excellent interpersonal relations and communicative skills; auditory and visual skills. Proficient computer skills required.
Coordinate the redevelopment of all newly acquired or designated multi-family assets.
Education, Experience, other requirements:
Bachelors College Degree or equivalent
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Facilities Manager in property management or Project Manager in multi-family production or related industry
Ability to multi-task effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Work in cooperation with the Regional Vice President of Property Management, Director of Facilities, Regional Director, Property Manager and Maintence Team to successfully execute the redevelopment plan for each newly acquired or designated property.
- Identify, hire and manage subcontractors and redevelopment personnel.
Travel:
- The DR will be expected to travel as necessary to achieve the Redevelopment Plans for each designated asset or to assist with other duties assigned by the President. Weekly travel is likely.
HOURS:
- Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 P.M. (times may vary based on business needs)
- Weekend hours as required.
- Additional hours may be required due to business necessity.
