Typical Job Entry Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior banking experience with collection experience a plus.
·
Computer experience with a working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software programs.
·
Good written and oral communication skills.
Primary Activities

·
Acts as a collection agent on all mortgage loan accounts deemed delinquent. This includes all charge-off activity and recoveries.
·
Calls on customers with past due accounts and assists customers with financial counseling via phone, mail and home visits as necessary.
·
Responsible for assisting in the retrieval and disposal of repossessed real estate by means of auction and/or sale to external customers.
·
Assemble charge-off files
·
Assist customers with loan cure programs
