                                Senior Production Engineer – Molding

Our client is a Japanese Tier-1 Automotive Supplier in the Terre Haute Indiana area.  Due to growth, they are expanding operations.  Our assignment, recruit a Senior Production Engineer – Molding.  This leader will provide day-to-day technical support for molding process and new launch development activities for molding department.  Answer customer complaints, conduct investigations, develop root cause analysis and determine countermeasures.  Support mold trials prior to molds arrival.  Will interface with tool engineering / outside tool shops (domestic and international), conduct initial mold trials to verify internal process and mold capabilities.  Support manufacturing in the purchase, installation and start-up of new equipment and participate in continuous improvement activities.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology and 5 to 7 years “hands-on” mold experience in the automotive industry.
